Ungerboeck and EventBooking, two global leaders of event and venue management software, have merged to power the world’s events with a combined set of values and a singular focus on customer success.

The news comes after several months of negotiations and is effective immediately. Manish Chandak will continue on as the current President and CEO of Ungerboeck. Steve Mackenzie of EventBooking will take on the role of Executive Vice President of Ungerboeck.

The companies share the same core values: focusing on the customer, providing innovative products, and fostering engaged and empowered teams. This merge presents an opportunity to fully align those values, increase capabilities, and propel customers’ business to outstanding new heights.

Ungerboeck has over 35 years of experience in event platform building with more than 50,000 users across 50+ countries, making it the event industry’s technology leader worldwide. EventBooking’s VenueOps software is only four years old but is already widely recognized in the industry for its intuitiveness and ease of use. It’s designed for venues of all sizes, from theaters to convention centers. Over 350 venues in 24 countries have adopted VenueOps to manage their venues.

The unified company looks forward to collectively assessing how to best serve incoming business. The team will look at the needs of potential clients and match them to the unique advantages of each software tool, with the goal of powering the events industry with more innovation and solutions that span the event life cycle.
